Yes you were the flatulent one

(listen to this here while reading, but go watch the video elsewhere. it is amazing.)

Finished Libra.
Everyone kind of got wrapped up in conspiracies in the end. Branch, the CIA dude, was a good touch. Gave me a place in the book or something. Sad ending. Been reading a lot of sad books lately unfortunately. Cheever, Yates.

SPOILER ALERT: Oswald and Kennedy and Jack Ruby get killed.

Did you guys see Rachel Nichols sitting down with Miami's big three? Lebron looked kind of mad. Not at her, mad like a new general outlook. It looked good on him. People didn't like him earlier in his short career because he was good, etc. They can say that's not it, but really. Now, he's a bad guy, and it looks like he's trying to embrace it. Does that mean the Black Mamba is going to be a good guy now? To be honest, I'm kind of excited to see Lebron be a bad guy. Maybe he'll be tough now.

In other news, the Cowboys' season isn't completely over yet. It was fun to watch them beat up on Houston Sunday, but they should be beating up everyone. Oh well. Dez Bryant is really strong.

I keep meaning to take pictures of our new apartment, if for no other reason than so potential burglars will know the layout.

Here's an archway

Here's a Lou Bear

I have this chair in the corner of our bedroom and I can sit in it and read. It's Grace's chair, actually. I like to pretend it is mine, and that she is not allowed in the space when I'm reading like it's an office or a port-o-let. I bet she rallies the Ridgewood homeless in to pee on the chair when I'm not around.

Our upstairs neighbor told us there was this old lady that used to live in our apartment. They have to live somewhere I guess. She was getting on though, in years right, and our neighbor found her in the hall one day trying to get him. He was all like, 'you are home.' and she was like 'oh no, sweetie, i just play bridge here." It was kind of a sad story, the degeneration of the mind, but her family finally came and took care of her.

You guys know about Charlie Rose talking to the Google guy the other night? They were talking about the future and china and other things. Then the sound went blank for a few seconds. A few key seconds. Do you know how long the Zapruder film lasts? A few key seconds. Do you know how long it takes for Rod Blagojevich to fix his hair? A few key seconds.

Hmmm.

I met with this guy the other day. The story isn't so good. How it came about is pretty good. The guy, though, was in possession of the most knowledge I have ever seen in my life. Does that make sense? I know some smart people, intelligent. This guy was, while no doubt highly intelligent, was just so knowledgeable. I could do nothing but take a nap after our meeting.

Have you seen this blog : http://dailydinger.tumblr.com/
